Trumbull County Fair Truck and Tractor Pull 2026: CS Pulling Promotions Debut Draws Packed Stands in Cortland, OH

Cortland, OH. (July 18, 2026)- The first-ever CS Pulling Promotions event at the Trumbull County Fair delivered everything a debut should. Five classes of truck and tractor pulling hit the track in Cortland, Ohio on Friday, July 17, 2026, and the packed grandstand proved that Trumbull County was ready for it. A hometown track for many CS competitors, a full night of competition, and a crowd that filled the stands for year one. The Classic Super Stock Tractors opened the night with the vintage iron, and the Spillman brothers of Bolivar, Ohio turned it into a family showcase. David Spillman drove the John Deere 4520 "Smokin' Ace" to a winning 343.640 and 50 points, with brother Matt Spillman right behind at 342.010 in the John Deere 4320 "Shell Shocked." Cameron Evanich and Tim Stanley rounded out the podium with the 1963 John Deere 5010 "Just Chuggin' Along" at 341.230, putting the top three within two and a half feet of one another. Local favorites ran deep through the field, with Zack Jones of Freeport bringing the 1067 International 856 "Survivor" out for the home crowd and Kyle Hawk putting the "Black River Deere" John Deere 5010 to 325.760.
The Limited Pro A-Pump Tractors kept rolling after their statement week at the Big Butler Fair, and Jim Swiontek of Clinton, Pennsylvania, put an exclamation point on the night. Swiontek stretched the John Deere 4430 "Buck Up" out to a massive 368.420, the longest tractor pass of the night, to claim the win and 50 points. Donnie Hebenthal of Ford City, Pennsylvania, took second with the International 766 "Mechanically Inclined" at 349.390, and Nathan Graham of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, completed the podium with the Ford 9000 "Blue Reaper" at 343.320. Jeremiah Shipley of Kensington, Ohio, brought the appropriately named Case 1070 "Young Gun" out to hook with the big dogs.
The 2.6 Pro Street Diesel Trucks, brought to you by Apex Diesel Performance, delivered one of the strongest fields of the season, and Amanda Weakland of Chest Springs, Pennsylvania topped it. Weakland drove the 78 Ford "Just Putting Up A Fight" to a winning 353.650, backing up her spot on the brand new CS Lady Drivers shirt with the longest diesel pass of the night. Matt Diehl of New Galilee, Pennsylvania took second with the 1966 Dodge 2500 "Workin' On" at 346.350, and Trevor Raney of Adamsville, Pennsylvania rounded out the podium with the 2008 Dodge 3500 "Wound Tight" at 345.770. Fellow Lady Driver Renee Dean and the "Harvest Wrecker" Chevy Silverado finished fourth at 343.220 in a field where the top four all cleared 343 feet.
The Super Farm and Hot Farm Tractors made it back-to-back weekends at the top for Brad McFarland of New Wilmington, Pennsylvania. One week after winning at the Big Butler Fair, McFarland put the John Deere 6030 "UnTamed" out to 345.820 for another 50 points. Brian McConnell of Volant, Pennsylvania chased him with the International 1066 "Milk Man's Mojo" at 337.700, and Kent Way of West Salem, Ohio took third with the IH 1066 "Little Bro" at 337.350, just three and a half tenths of a foot back of second.
The Super Semi Trucks closed the night on their hometown dirt, and the Trumbull County crowd got exactly the show it came for. Mark Scott of Perrysburg, Ohio put the Freightliner "Mr Mokey" way out to 405.540, the longest distance of the entire event and the only pass of the night past 400 feet. Beth Ann Scott made it a Perrysburg one-two with the Freightliner "Miss Mokey" at 390.540. Chase Catenese of Ravenna, Ohio took third and 50 points with the "Snowman" at 375.190, and fellow Ravenna driver Vinnie Giulitto put the 1983 Mack Superliner "Full Spool" out to 353.170 for fourth. Jeree Flesher of Chesterland, Ohio brought the 07 W-900 "Mr. Excavator" out for the home region as well in a class stacked with Northeast Ohio iron.
