CS Pulling Promotions Makes West Virginia Debut at Tyler County Fair

Brian McConnell took the win in the Hot Farm/Super Farm Class with the International 1066 called "Milk Man's Mojo"

CS Pulling Promotions made its West Virginia debut Friday night at the Tyler County Fair, taking the reins from Power Pulling Productions after acquiring the sled pulling series earlier this year. With packed grandstands, a full pit area, and a huge Friday night crowd, the first CS sanctioned show in the Mountain State delivered big numbers and even bigger horsepower.

The night opened with a special appearance from the Hot Rod Big Block V8 Tractors, a unique group for CS Pulling Promotions and a fresh addition to this West Virginia lineup. Jeff Neisel and “Ole Sparky” from Dellroy, Ohio, powered their way to the win at 317.06 feet, with Dean Kibler in “Mister Massey” and Oscar Turbovich with “Freaky Farmall” right behind. The class brought a mix of old-school iron and new builds, setting the tone for the rest of the night.

2.6 Pro Street Diesel Trucks followed with one of the largest fields of the season. Matt Diehl in “Workin On”, who started the year battling clutch issues, had the Dodge dialed in and took the win at 314.92 feet. Renee Dean, in her rookie season with “Harvest Wrecker,” pushed to second, while Brian Miller in “Deceiver” took third. The diesel class continues to grow over time and has proven to be a fan favorite division on the CS Championship Sled Pulling circuit.

The Hot Farm/Super Farm Tractors delivered a classic shootout, featuring familiar names and tough new challengers. Brian McConnell, a Hot Farm veteran and former points champion, claimed the win in “Milkman’s Mojo” at 325.96 feet. Mark Sindlinger’s “Babe”, a Super Farm machine that’s undefeated this year after just returning to the circuit, finished a close second. Brad McFarland’s “Untamed” was third, while the McFarland family’s “Rutt’n Buck” is still out, waiting on parts. Tight finishes and big crowds made this class a standout of the night.

The Pro Stock Trucks closed out the show with a field full of local and regional talent. Joey Lang and “Rip Tide” grabbed the win at 314.98 feet, chased by Malachi Foster’s “Outcast” and Jennie Abbott’s “Gunpowder & Lead Reloaded.” Home state entries from West Virginia and Ohio filled the pits and kept the stands buzzing right to the final hook.

CS Pulling Promotions extends a big thank you to the Tyler County Fair Board, the track crew, all the drivers, and every fan who came out to support our first-ever West Virginia event. With the transition from Power Pulling Productions complete, CS is proud to keep the Friday night pulling tradition alive and well in Middlebourne, with even bigger things to come.
