Grandstands and Pits Packed as CS Pulling Promotions Debuts at Big Butler Fair

Prospect, PA. (July 2, 2025) – A massive crowd packed the grandstands at the Big Butler Fairgrounds on Wednesday night as CS Pulling Promotions made its long-awaited debut at the historic venue. With standing room only and record numbers in several classes, the opening night of this two-day truck and tractor pulling showcase set the tone for what is quickly becoming one of Pennsylvania’s premier pulling events.

In the 410 Super Stock Truck division, a full field of powerful machines thundered down the track. It was Pieces N Parts, piloted by Richard Eberhart, who rose above the rest with an impressive 337.81-foot pass. Trevor Kendziorski and Back in Black earned the runner-up position, while Luke Simeon’s Outta The Blue claimed third. The local fans had plenty to cheer for, with hometown favorites competing right alongside seasoned champions.

The 2.6 Pro Street Diesel Truck class drew one of the deepest fields of the season, and the competition did not disappoint. Anthony Byrne powered his Bad Bowtie Chevy to victory at 309.03 feet, outdueling Matt Diehl’s Workin’ On and Bryan Door’s Bad Habits. Every pass had the crowd on its feet as trucks fought for inches in one of the most exciting showdowns of the night.

The Super Farm / Hot Farm Tractors brought massive power to the Butler clay. In a class stacked with former champions and crowd favorites, Mark Sindlinger’s Babe came out on top with a distance of 307.24 feet. Jeff Solley’s Saturday Night Hooker and Brian McConnell’s Milk Man’s Mojo—a local legend rounded out the top three.

The Pro Stock Gas Trucks class featured a full lineup of massive cubic inch V8s. Doug Berghoff’s Old Habits found himself at the top the class, followed by strong hooks from Brian Pickering’s Calamity Hollow Outlaw and Ethan Robbins in Out of Control.

In the Showroom Gas Trucks class—sanctioned by Western PA Tractor and Truck Pullers Inc., a CS Pulling Promotions member state—it was a Ford vs. Chevy vs. GMC showdown that brought the night to a close. Rick Gilson’s Cowboy took home the top honors, followed closely by local competitor Ryan Martin in Wild West Express and Chevy Gresko’s Big Red—all representing the local pulling scene with pride.

With grandstands filled to capacity and competitive classes bursting at the seams, Night #1 of the Big Butler Fair Pull proved to be a milestone for CS Pulling Promotions. The action continues Thursday, July 3, as the Super Semis, Pro Modified Trucks, and more roll into town for what is sure to be another packed night of pulling.

CS Pulling Promotions would like to thank the Big Butler Fair for an incredible evening and for providing a top-notch facility and a hard-working track crew. Their dedication helped deliver a smooth, competitive surface that kept the action intense from start to finish.
