Empire Clash Delivers Big Night of Pulling in Little Valley, New York with CS Pulling Promotions

ree

Little Valley, NY. (July 28, 2025) –CS Pulling Promotions made its first-ever appearance at the Cattaraugus County Fairgrounds in Little Valley, New York on Saturday night for the Empire Clash, and the night lived up to its name. Despite the threat of rain and a brief shower just before the final class, the pulling surface held up beautifully and the show pushed forward without missing a beat. Fans packed the stands, the pits were full, and five classes of pulling brought horsepower and excitement to Western New York.

The Unlimited Street Diesel Trucks kicked things off. Both Jeremy Gahr in Tire Fire and Justin Safford made full pulls in regulation, forcing a pull-off finale at the end of the night. When it was all said and done, it was Gahr taking the win with a 340.49-foot run, while Safford earned second. Wayne Smith out of Springville, NY, rounded out the top three with a strong hook in his 2017 Ford F-250.

The Hot Street Semi class saw Joe Shannon from Ohio dominate in his J-Rod Peterbilt with a massive 391.08-foot pull. Floyd Lindstorm and The Old Man took second in front of his home state crowd, with Mike Pollock in 414 landing in third.

In Hot Farm/Super Farm Tractors, Mark Sindlinger and the Babe Ford Super Farm took 1st with 353.65 feet. Brian McConnell’s Milk Man’s Mojo charged hard for second, and Brad McFarland’s Untamed John Deere finished out 3rd.

Joe Shannon continued his sweep in the Pro Street Semi class, putting J-Rod back in the winner’s circle with another strong hook. Floyd Lindstorm and Mike Pollock repeated their 2nd and 3rd place finishes from earlier in the night.

Just before the Super Semis came to the track, a short rain shower hit the grounds. But thanks to great work by the Cattaraugus County Fair track crew, the surface stayed consistent and we were able to finish strong.

In the headlining Super Semi class, Dale Francis launched Maximus Prime 2 out to a huge 413.32 foot pass to take the win. Joe Bonner, behind the wheel of Maximus Prime 1, backed it up with a 394.89 foot second-place finish, which now moves him into the points lead for the CS Pulling Promotions Super Semi Series. Joe Gambino’s The Big Horn took third, with Albert Francis in Silver Bullet and Casey Smith in Magnum Force finishing fourth and fifth.

This was the season debut for both Silver Bullet and Magnum Force. Magnum Force, in fact, was still in pieces earlier that day as the crew at Francis Engineering worked late into the afternoon to finish an engine rebuild and make the show.

CS Pulling Promotions extends a big thank you to the Cattaraugus County Fair team, the pulling fans of New York, and the competitors who helped make the Empire Clash one of the most memorable first-time stops on the tour.
