Tionesta, PA ( November 13, 2026) — CS Pulling Promotions is proud to officially welcome the Classic Super Stock Tractors to the Championship Sled Pulling Series lineup for 2026.
This class brings back the heart and heritage of tractor pulling, combining the old-school roar of 1980 and older iron with the competitive edge of today’s precision-built machines. Each tractor runs under a strict 7,700-pound weight limit and is powered by a single turbocharger, with engines capped at 531 cubic inches, maintaining close and exciting competition from start to finish.
The Classic Super Stock division made its CS debut during the 2025 season, appearing at both the Ashtabula County Fair and the Champion’s Pullin’ for Children event in Jefferson, Ohio. After an overwhelmingly positive response from both fans and competitors, the decision was made to bring the class into the full series for the upcoming year.
“These tractors bring back what so many people love about the sport,” said Chase Steinman, Owner of CS Pulling Promotions. “The sound, the smoke, the nostalgia, but still very competitive. They fit right in with what we’re building at CS Pulling Promotions.”
Fans can look forward to seeing the Classic Super Stocks at select events throughout the 2026 season. With strong interest from pullers across the region, the addition of this class strengthens CS Pulling Promotions’ ongoing commitment to variety, competition, and growth across every level of pulling.
