Champions’ Pullin’ for Children Packs Pine Lake Raceway with Full Night of Action
Dale Francis Swept the Super Semi Class with "Macksimus Prime II"

Jefferson, OH. (September 6, 2025) – It was standing room only at Pine Lake Raceway for the annual Champions’ Pullin’ for Children, hosted by CS Pulling Promotions and benefitting Shriners Children’s Erie. A full house of fans packed the fairgrounds to witness one of the most competitive and diverse nights of pulling in 2025, with every class giving the crowd a show while raising funds for a tremendous cause.

The Pro Stock Trucks brought the night to a close with their final hook of the season. Joey Lang of Malaga, OH, in the Chevrolet “Rip Tide” charged to the win at 347.89 feet. Cranberry, PA’s Jacque Paxton followed in second with “Crazy Train” at 341.22, while Victor Shine’s Ford settled into third with a solid 338.26. Scott Rodgers’ “Crazy Train” made an exhibition pass to round out the evening, but it was Lang who walked away with top honors on the last hook of 2025.

The Limited Pro Stock Tractors had one of the most stacked classes of the evening, and this event served as the finale for their CS Pulling Promotions points season. Nathan Graham of Greensburg, PA, took the win with “Blue Reaper” at 373.01 feet, edging out veteran Greg Ferringer who was just behind at 371.55. Kayla Graham pushed “Billet Blue” to a strong third-place run at 362.08, while Gavin Stewart’s John Deere placed fourth at 356.61. The points battle came to a close on the Pine Lake track, capping off a year of tough competition for the Limited Pros.

In the Cool Street Semis, it was all Olin Benjamin as he pulled to victory at 347.08 feet. Rick Janson of Andover, OH, claimed second with “Superfine,” followed by Jacob Gabriel’s “Garfield” Peterbilt in third.

The Classic Super Stock Tractors made their second hook of the season with CS Pulling Promotions and instantly became a crowd favorite. Tim Stanley of Salem, OH, and his John Deere “Just Chuggin Along” claimed the inaugural win with 344.83 feet. Hayden Shaw’s “Haymaker” John Deere 4010 was right there in second at 343.32, while Kyle Hawk out of Kensington, OH, took third with “Black River Deere” at 338.21.

The 3.0 Limited Pro Diesel Trucks had fans on their feet, as Travis Pushlar of Chittenango, NY, powered “Hell Fire” to a hard-fought victory at 350.59 feet. Just behind was Trevor Raney with “Wound Tight” at 349.04, a truck that typically runs in the 2.6 Pro Street class, but for this event, Raney bolted on duals and a 3 inch charger to run with the big boys, proving he could hang near the top of the class. Jasper Pushlar’s “Matrix” was right there in third at 348.94, while Craig Stackhouse’s “Bad Addiction” landed in fourth with a 345.58 pass. The top three were separated by less than two feet, making this one of the closest and most thrilling finishes of the evening.

The 410 Super Stock Trucks once again proved why they’re a fan favorite. Dorset, OH’s Calvin Brown put “Buckeye Bowtie” on top at 320.71 feet, with Trevor Kendziorski and “Back N Black” just behind at 314.94. Richard Eberhart out of Cadiz, OH, pushed “Pieces and Parts” into third with 310.73.

The Unlimited Street Diesel Trucks were one of the largest classes of the night and one of the few hooks of the season for this division, making the competition even more intense. James King of Jeannette, PA, stormed to the win with a Dodge at 360.12 feet. Frank Field of Edinboro, PA, was just behind in “Always Late” at 356.51, while fellow Edinboro native Alex Holmstrom’s “Bad Investment” Ford placed third at 334.65.

The 650 Modified Trucks brought a different kind of thunder, with a mix of powerplants and chassis. Kentucky iron rose to the top, as Derek Timmer of Versailles, KY, won with “One More Time” at 318.40. Graham Young’s “Renegade” and Justin Grace’s “Just in Time” rounded out the podium in second and third, respectively.

The Pro Modified Trucks were another highlight, showcasing a diverse mix of diesel machines, blown alcohol trucks, and both 2WD and 4WD setups. Coshocton, OH’s Cliff Carnes made a statement win with “Carnage,” running out to 353.65 feet. Aaron Zundel’s “Steel City Shaker” out of New Alexandria, PA, held second at 327.63, while Davey Kendziorski piloted “Back N Black” into third.

The Super Semis never fail to deliver, and the stakes were high with points on the line. Dale Francis of Jefferson, OH, powered “Maximus Prime II” to the top spot with a 376.67-foot run, narrowly edging teammate Joe Bonner in “Maximus Prime I” at 376.22. Albert Francis added to the family effort, driving the “Silver Bullet” to third at 363.93. Jeff Lautanen’s “Moody Blue” and Zach Ranta’s “Drama” rounded out the top five. With only one hook remaining on the CS Pulling Promotions points circuit, the battle for the championship remains tight.

The Pro Street Semis closed out the action in dramatic fashion, as Mantua, OH’s Roger Herrington piloted “Slightly Disturbed” to victory at 383.99 feet. Brandon Stroup’s “Down to the Wire” was right there in second at 382.83, while Chase Catanese’s “Snowman” finished third at 380.43.

The Champions’ Pullin’ for Children combined fierce competition with a meaningful mission. Fans, pullers, and crews came together for one of the most memorable events of the season, raising money and awareness for Shriners Children’s Erie while celebrating the very best in truck and tractor pulling.
